Aroma Farm was founded in early 2013 and is headquartered in the village of Smila, which belongs to the municipality of ancient Olympia in the Ilia prefecture of Greece. Our aim is to produce culinary herbs, seasonings, herbal medicines, and essential oils from raw materials derived from native aromatic and medicinal plant species, organically grown on our own fields.
The long-standing family experience in cultivating aromatic and medicinal plants on our own experimental fields and commercial farms, and the excellent results achieved so far, formed the basis for the founding of this company.
To complement our family tradition with scientific insights and ensure the highest quality of our products, we have collaborated with experts from universities and the National Foundation for Agricultural Research (NAGREF) of Greece. We also maintain close contact with Dr. Theodoros Koutsos, agronomist and researcher, the former head of the Aromatic and Medicinal Plants Department at NAGREF.
Tradition, knowledge and experience, combined with cultivation methods strictly following the guidelines of the organic certification body and the ideal climate with the intense sunlight of ancient Olympia and Crete, form our “secret”.
